Darren C. O'Toole
Darren C. O'Toole, Esq. is a Partner and Family Law Attorney at the Law Offices of O'Toole & Gunteski, LLC. Darren grew up in Ocean Grove section of Neptune New Jersey. Darren attended Bethany College, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. in 1996. Darren went on to attend Rutgers Law School in Camden, NJ, earning his Juris Doctor degree in 1999.
Darren was an active member of the Domestic Violence Practice and Reform Project while serving as law clerk to the Honorable Joseph H. Rodriguez of the United States District Court.
Darren completed a clerkship Family Part of the Superior Court, Monmouth County, NJ. Darren also served as a law clerk in the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.
Darren was a partner in the firm of Jacobowitz, Defino, Latimer & O'Toole, where he practiced family law prior to opening his own practice in 2011, The Law Offices of Darren O'Toole.
In 2013 Darren and Michael J. Gunteski have partnered up to form the Law Offices of O'Toole & Gunteski, LLC, a highly respected Family Law Practice located in Monmouth County.
Focusing primarily on family law, Darren's practice includes dissolution of marriage, child custody, child support, adoption, spousal support, domestic violence trials, relocation, shared parenting time arrangements, mediation, collaborative law, municipal court matters, and real estate.
Darren is a Member of the Monmouth Bar Association, Monmouth County Family Law Committee Trustee, Ocean County Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association Family Law Division, the Jersey Shore Collaborative Law Group, and the District of Columbia Bar, and the International Academy of Collaborative Law Professionals.
Darren resides in Monmouth County with his wife, three children, and two dogs.
Michael J. Gunteski
Michael J. Gunteski, Esq. is a Partner and Family Law Attorney at the Law Offices of O'Toole & Gunteski, LLC. Michael has resided in Ocean County since his birth. He was born in Point Pleasant NJ and grew up in Island Heights, NJ. He attended Saint Joseph Grade School and Monsignor Donovan High School in Toms River, NJ.
Michael then attended the University of Scranton where he majored in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Sociology. Michael was a member of both the Criminal Justice and Sociology honor societies. He graduated from College in 2004 and continued his education at Seton Hall University School of Law located in Newark, NJ. Michael graduated in 2007 with his Juris Doctorate.
Upon his graduation, Michael secured a clerkship with the Honorable Honora O'Brien Kilgallen, formerly Presiding Judge of the Family Part. During his clerkship, Michael focused on all areas of family law. In 2008, he joined the firm of Jacobowitz, Defino, Latimer and O'Toole, where he first worked with Darren O'Toole. Michael remained there until June of 2011 when he moved to the Law Offices of Toby Grabelle. He eventually became partners at Grabelle & Gunteski.
In February of 2013, Michael left Grabelle & Gunteski to form the current partnership at The Law Offices of O'Toole & Gunteski, LLC.
Michael focuses on primarily family law issues which include dissolution of marriage, child custody, child support, adoption, spousal support, domestic violence, relocation, shared parenting time arrangements, mediation, and collaborative law.
Michael is a member of the Hayden Proctor Inns of court, Monmouth-Ocean Family law Inns of Court, Monmouth County Bar Association, Ocean County Bar Association, Monmouth County Family Law Association And Jersey Shore Collaborative law group.
Michael resides in Ocean County with his wife and two dogs.

Diane Thorne is a paralegal and office manager at Jersey Shore Family Law. Diane offers the skills she has developed over the last 30 years in litigation and resolution of family law matters.
Diane previously worked as legal assistant to Philip Jacobowitz Esq. and Toby Grabelle Esq. for over twenty years, fine tuning the necessary skills for an exceptional matrimonial litigation paralegal.
Diane has worked as a paralegal for Darren O'Toole, Esq. for over 10 years.
