Kari Hanratty

Hanratty Law Group attorney kari hanrattyIt has always been Kari's life passion to assist families. While interning for the Honorable Family Court Judge Cynthia Dianne Steel, Kari discovered that family law was her passion. This position allowed her extensive contact with Judges and attorney throughout the Las Vegas area and introduced her to the backdrop of the family court system. Kari's final year of law school focused on classes related to family law and other areas connected to families.

Upon graduating from law school Kari accepted a position with the Honorable Family Court Judge, Gloria S. Sanchez. Again working within the family court's reinforced Kari's knowledge in the family court system. This experience provided Kari with firsthand knowledge of each Judge and their respective Court rooms. To gain more knowledge, Kari would spend time in each Court room observing judges and attorney and learning the do and don't of family law.

As a result of her employment, Kari choose an associate position at a small but prestigious law firm which provided her with extensive court room experience and the freedom necessary to develop an individual style based upon honestly and integrity. Several years later Kari established the Hanratty Roberts Law Group. This firm achieved several awards namely, Pro Bono Small Firm of the Year 2007 and Pro Bono Attorney of the Year 2008. Kari's goal was to always maintain a small firm that was dedicating to helping the individual. In 2009, Kari joined the Association of Family and Consolidated Courts in an effort to help families to successfully parent children during and after the divorce process.

In 2010, in accordance with her goals of maintaining a small firm that was dedicated to helping the individual, Kari established Hanratty Law Group. Throughout her career, Kari has gained respect from judges, colleagues and clients. Kari's client base is largely referral oriented.

Holly E. Roys

Hanratty Law Group attorney holly roysHolly E. Roys graduated from the University Of New Mexico School Of Law in 2005. She then moved with her family to the Las Vegas area where she worked as a law clerk for a small firm until she took and passed the bar in early 2006. At that time she became an associate with the firm. Working in a small firm has provided Holly with invaluable experience; she has significant courtroom experience, both in motion practice and trial litigation. Holly is known for her compassionate, yet honest, approach to every case. She firmly believes that each and every person should have equal access to our courts.

During law school, Holly worked as a Student Teacher for first year law school Legal Research, Reasoning and Writing classes; she also worked as a summer student associate for a prestigious civil litigation firm in Santa Fe, New Mexico. For her clinical requirements, Holly worked diligently on the New Mexico Juvenile Justice Project (a program aimed at improving conditions in juvenile justice facilities and decreasing recidivism) and the Innocence and Justice Project; she also had handled numerous juvenile delinquency matters.

During her years as an undergraduate at the University of New Mexico, Holly participated in several student groups, including Young Democrats, Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society, Golden Key Honor Society and the Pre-Law Club. Prior to entering law school, she was employed as a social worker in Albuquerque, New Mexico and its surrounding rural communities. She was proud to serve on a committee which created policies and provided recommendations for one of the nation's first juvenile drug court programs.

Carrie Primas
Ms. Primas is a native born Nevadan and grew up in Las Vegas. After graduating with honors from Durango High School, Ms. Primas received several scholarships to the University of Nevada, Reno, where she earned a B.A. in Economics in 2005. Ms. Primas was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society in 2005.

After her time at the University of Nevada, Reno, Ms. Primas earned a leadership scholarship to Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio, where she earned her J.D. in 2010. During her time at Case, she earned a position on the Dean's Honor List and was very active in various student government and law related organizations and committees.

Immediately after completing law school, Ms. Primas returned to Las Vegas to pursue her legal career. She was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada and the United States District Court, District of Nevada, in 2010, and is a member of the Howard D. McKibben chapter of the Inns of Court. Ms. Primas' passion and expertise lies in the area of family law.
